"Streamline:" Apparently he was a well-known air
pilot who served in the R.N.A.S and the R.F.C during WW1. He also
raced at Brooklands where, by all rights, his aero-engined cars
were all the rage! The tales, although written as fiction, are
supposed to recount either some of the experiences that he had as
a pilot or various strange events that had happened to others that
he felt he could trust.
