Author of
modern urban horror stories which combine bleak, closely observed
settings among industrial wastelands, decaying cities and the
underside of society with the intrusion of the uncanny and
dream-like unreality. Precise, strangely compelling prose which
will draw in even those who do not relish gritty realism in their
supernatural writing. His novels are less overtly supernatural in
content but operate in a similar millieu and with a macabre edge.
He has also edited anthologies, including Beneath the
Ground,
stories of subterranean mystery and terror (Alchemy Press,
2003).
