  BORIS KARLOFF
b.1887 d.1969
Karloff was the stage-name of the British-born actor William Henry Pratt, and was isbest-known for his portrayal of the monster in Frankenstein (1931). His name was put to three horror anthologies, some of which were reprinted with pared-down contents.
