As
Jack Adrian has recently noted in the Ash-Tree Press reprint of
Vampires Overhead, very little is known of Alan
Hyder. Adrian surmises that he may be British, but brought up in
Jamaica. He wrote three other novels (non-supernatural) and a
number of short stories for the magazines of the day.
