The author
of Faust
and The Sorcerer's Apprentice.. There are at least two
fantastic works in verse in addition: " The Erl King" and "The
Bride of Corinth". There is also a book collecting his prose works
in the symbolical, allegorical and Märchen modes,
Tales for
Transformation, City Lights, 1987, which may or may not fit into
the supernatural category, depending upon one's
definitions.
