Mary Ann
Allen is the pseudonym of Rosemary Pardoe. Most of her stories
first appeared in anthologies and small press publications. All
but one ("The Cambridge Beast") involve the supernatural
adventures of Jane Bradshawe, church furnishings restorer, and
most revolve around some item of church contents; although haunted
follies and inn signs, among other things, also feature.
