- Carlton-in-Coverdale is in the Yorkshire
Dales National Park.
- It is
best to get to Carlton-in-Coverdale by car as the nearest
mainline railway station is in Northallerton.
- Local
accomodation is available at Abbots
Thorn and
The
Foresters.
For those staying locally in the Dale we plan to meet up
before and after the event in The Foresters Arms which is
just up the road, and there will be (weather permitting)
a walk in the Dale on Sunday morning.
